Before you install
What to know before you order and install it
- Installation
- Plastered into the ceiling. VICO is trimless: its perforated flange is set into the cutout and plastered over, so only the 50 mm aperture shows. Plan it before the ceiling is finished, with your electrician and plasterer.
- Light source
- Integrated LED, not replaceable. The 6 W LED is built into the fitting, so there is no bulb to change.
- Driver
- Separate from the fitting. It measures 67 × 22 × 22 mm and lies in the ceiling void beside the spot, on its cable, so the void needs room for both.
- Dimming
- Dimmable, method to confirm. The supplier does not state which dimmer the driver needs, so tell us yours and we check it works before you order.
- Automation
- Through the dimmer on its circuit. There is no radio module in the fitting, so it does not join a wireless network on its own. Write to us with your system and we check it.
- Protection
- IP21, for dry indoor rooms. Not for bathrooms near water or outdoors. The fitting runs at a safe low voltage of 36 V from its driver.
