OUR BEGINNING
The Grand Collection began from a shared love for interiors that feel quiet yet full of presence. Together with The Grand Interior, we set out to celebrate the essence of Italian timeless luxury. Spaces that are warm. Lived in. Designed with intention.

We believe a home should tell a personal story. One expressed through balance, texture, proportion and material. Design that does not fade with trends, but becomes more meaningful over time.

Our work is guided by sculptural silhouettes, refined materials and a sense of timeless proportion. We take inspiration from Italian modern interiors, where form and function are in harmony and every detail is considered.

HOW EACH PIECE COMES TO LIFE
Every item in our collection follows a careful and intentional process:

1. Unique design
   Each piece begins with a distinct idea. We sketch, sculpt, refine, and reshape until the silhouette feels harmonious and complete. This process unfolds in our Amsterdam studio or in collaboration with trusted design partners. Most recently, we teamed up with the talented Italian designer Paolo Ciacci, who has just finalized a new collection that is now moving into production.
   
2. Material Selection
   We source only the finest Italian fabrics for our pieces. Materials that age beautifully and reveal their natural character over time. The striking alabaster used throughout many of our lighting designs is carefully selected from quarries in Spain.
   
3. Prototyping and Refinement
   We test proportions, comfort and emotional presence in real spaces, making subtle adjustments as needed.
4. Artisan Production
   Our pieces are crafted by skilled artisans from around the world, each specializing in fine furniture craftsmanship. Depending on the design, production takes place in the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, China, or India. Their mastery in shaping, assembling, and hand-finishing is what truly brings each piece to life.
   
5. Quality Control and Packaging
   Each piece is individually inspected and prepared with care before shipping, ensuring it arrives ready to become part of your home.
