The LIV Onyx Bookstand is a set of two bookstands carved from natural onyx, designed to hold books open on a surface or to display art catalogues and journals as objects in their own right. Onyx is a translucent stone with deep, swirling colour and a quality that distinguishes it from travertine and marble: when light catches the stone, it has a depth and intensity that solid opaque stones cannot achieve. Each piece of onyx is unique.
Sold as a set of two, the LIV pair is intended for a composed display arrangement where two books or objects are shown side by side at a considered distance.
